Project summary
Fifth + Broadway was envisioned as a destination where people could live, work, shop, and gather in the center of downtown Nashville. Long before opening, the development team needed a brand capable of communicating that vision while supporting leasing efforts and future growth.



Approach
The engagement began with a speculative creative pitch that helped secure the account and establish the foundation for the project. Through discovery workshops and strategy sessions, we explored multiple creative directions before refining the approach.




VISUAL IDENTITY
The Proof Branding team developed a striking visual identity that reflects the energy of downtown Nashville. This included a modern logo, a vibrant color palette, and engaging graphic elements that speak to the area’s cultural heritage. Comprehensive brand guidelines were created to ensure consistency across all platforms, reinforcing the brand’s identity throughout the development.
ENVIRONMENTAL BRANDING
As development progressed, the brand needed to extend beyond presentations and planning documents into the physical environment. Working closely with stakeholders, I helped concept construction fencing wraps and pre-leasing materials that introduced the project to Nashville long before opening day.
Visiting the site during construction provided a valuable perspective on how the brand would live within the space. Seeing the development firsthand helped inform decisions around scale, visibility, and the overall visitor experience.
Digital Presence
The website served as one of the first public touchpoints for the development and played a critical role in communicating the vision for the project.
I helped lead the design of a digital experience that showcased the destination, supported leasing efforts, and introduced future residents, tenants, and visitors to the Fifth + Broadway brand. As the project moved toward completion, I continued supporting brand management efforts to ensure consistency across evolving marketing and communication needs.

Project impact
The resulting brand system provided Fifth + Broadway with a cohesive identity capable of supporting residential, office, retail, and destination experiences through launch and beyond.
The project became one of Proof Branding’s most significant engagements, earned Gold ADDY recognition, and helped establish a strategic branding process that would later influence future large-scale development projects.
