Approach

As Creative Director and Lead Designer at Proof Branding, I helped transform an emerging beverage concept into a polished consumer brand, developing a connected system that spanned packaging, digital experiences, promotional materials, and retail touchpoints. The result was a flexible identity that balanced premium positioning with an approachable, lifestyle-driven personality.

The Challenge

Pompette needed a visual identity that could stand out on the shelf while remaining flexible enough to support multiple flavors, promotional campaigns, and future growth. The brand also needed to establish credibility as a newcomer in a crowded category without losing the playful, transportive feeling at the heart of the product experience.

Creating the Brand

Inspired by Mediterranean culture, coastal travel, and leisurely afternoons shared with friends, I helped develop a visual language that felt vibrant, refreshing, and unmistakably Pompette.

The identity system extended far beyond the logo itself. Each flavor received its own visual expression while remaining connected to the broader brand through illustration, color, typography, and packaging structure. This allowed every product to maintain a distinct personality without sacrificing consistency across the portfolio.

Before arriving at the final identity, several visual directions were explored to test how Pompette could show up in the market. Each concept offered a distinct interpretation of the brand’s personality, helping define the elements that ultimately informed the final system

From Shelf to Screen

To support launch efforts, the visual identity was translated across multiple customer touchpoints, including packaging, promotional materials, and a marketing website designed to introduce the brand story and help consumers locate distribution.

The website experience combined lifestyle photography, animation, and clear messaging to create a digital extension of the brand, reinforcing the same sense of escape and enjoyment communicated through the packaging.

The final identity system provided Pompette with a scalable foundation for launch and growth.

From shelf presence to digital discovery, every touchpoint worked together to communicate a consistent brand story rooted in quality, refreshment, and Mediterranean-inspired living. The packaging system created visual distinction between flavors while maintaining a recognizable brand presence, and the website helped bring the product story to life through engaging visuals and thoughtful user experience design.
